Aloha! Your all-in-one breakfast smoothie!

I am calling back the Summer with this tropical all in one breakfast smoothie: "Aloha Smoothie". Made with fresh or frozen fruit, it will not disappoint! It provides you with healthy fats (Omega 3/6) from the coconut, hemp seeds and Brazil nuts. It includes antioxidants like resveratrol from the grapes and selenium from Brazil nuts. It has fibre and protein from the hemp seeds, nuts and fruit. Contains Vitamin C and potassium. All together, a great satisfying brain and adrenal booster to help start the day.

 


Aloha Smoothie

Aloha Smoothie!

Prep: 5 minutes

Requirements: High Powered Blender, Frozen Fruit

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk *

  • 1 cup spring/filtered water or orange juice (fresh squeezed if you can)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2-3/4 cup of frozen chopped pineapple

  • 1/2 cup of frozen chopped papaya

  • 2 tablespoon of hemp seeds

  • 12 red grapes

  • 2 Brazil nuts

Optional:

  • add 1 tsp coconut oil or

  • 1/2 avocado

  • * along with the milk if you can find it: 1/4 cup of fresh or frozen coconut flesh

(Note: if you are making this in the Fall- Winter months, add Vitamin D drops)

Preparation:

  • Place ingredients in the blender in the order written.

  • Start blender on low, gradually increasing to high till well blended.

  • Serve and enjoy.
